The book talks about the different equipment, weapons, strategies of ancient soldiers of Rome, India, and Persia. The book also contains colorful illustrations of weapons, siege equipment, armor and strategies and anything.

The author, John Warry, wants to spread the knowledge of the expertise of ancient people when it comes to war.

I recommend this book because it depicts the warfare of the ancient peoples complete with colorful illustrations.

I give this book 4 stars because even through the book is about the Classical World’s warfare, it’s only limited to ancient people of the Mediterranean coast.
