Borrowing Procedures
1. Bring your personal borrower’s card whenever you
are borrowing materials from the Library.
2. Write the book’s call number and accession number in the space
provided.
3. Present the book, your I.D. card and your borrower’s card to
the staff assigned to the circulation counter. The book together
with your card will be stamped with the due date.
4. As you leave the Library, present the book to the staff for inspection.
5. Upon returning the book, present your card to the staff who will
stamp the date of return on it. |

What Not To Bring Inside The Library
* Food and drinks
* Bags, binders, large notebooks, and envelopes. These may be deposited
at the Bag Deposit Counter
* The Bag Deposit Counter is for library users only.
Privileges
1. General Collection Section – five books for two weeks which can be
renewed twice.
2. Reserve Book Section – one book for overnight use.
3. Photocopying of some parts of books and periodicals.
4. Access to the internet for research and for information.
5. Use of the Rizal Library by senior students – books of interest or
importance may be borrowed through the Intra-Library Loan (ILL) program
and placed in the Reserve Section of the HS Library.

Reminders
A student’s Borrower’s Card is non-transferable. Lending of this to
others will merit forfeiture of one’s library privileges.
Deliberate marking and/or mutilation of books, periodicals or other
library materials and facilities are acts of vandalism. The offender
shall be reported to the APSA office for appropriate sanction and will
be charged with a replacement/ reparation fee.
Lost or damaged library material while in one’s possession should be
reported immediately to the librarian or any of the Library staff. The
borrower will have to replace it with the same title or pay for it at
its current price, including its processing fee.
Except for reserved books/magazines and vertical files which should
be returned to the circulation counter, other library materials should
be placed on top of the reading tables after use.
In reading magazines, sign your name, year & section on the attached
form at the back cover.
The Library Foyer can be utilized as a discussion area for group research.
Availability of the place is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
ID should be worn/presented when using the Library, especially when
borrowing a book or any material found therein.
