The Electronic Map Library
Contains a number of digital maps portraying statistical census information for several metropolitan areas in the United States.

Mapping History Project
Provides maps of Europe including historical and cultural information.

Gheos World Travel Guide
Interactive maps of the world, along with statistical and informational profiles of individual countries.

Historical Atlas of the Twentieth Century
Provides a variety of maps which chart socio-economic trends, systems of government, cities, and wars and massacres throughout the 20th Century. Many of the maps are interactive and go into extensive detail.

United Nations Cartographic Section
An online collection of maps held and produced by the United Nations.
